Our team advises and defends employers ranging from closely held businesses to national companies in high-stakes employment disputes, workplace investigations, and complex labor and employment matters.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Kaufman Dolowich, associates are more than support attorneys—they are active members of the litigation team. You will gain meaningful hands-on experience, take ownership of cases, work directly with clients, participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, and play a key role in developing litigation strategy from day one. We are committed to investing in our attorneys' professional growth through mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities for advancement within a nationally respected platform.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution</li>\n <li>Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents</li>\n <li>Communicate directly with clients and provide strategic guidance and regular case updates</li>\n <li>Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and settlement negotiations</li>\n <li>Participate in investigations, court appearances, motion practice, hearings, and trials</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex employment matters</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of employment litigation experience</li>\n <li>JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials</li>\n <li>Admission to practice in New York required</li>\n <li>Law Review and/or Moot Court experience preferred</li>\n <li>Exceptional writing, research, analytical, and communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage & hour litigation</li>\n <li>Federal and state wage & hour matters, including collective and class actions</li>\n <li>Traditional labor and employment law matters</li>\n <li>Investigations before the U.S. Department of Labor, New York State Department of Labor, EEOC, and state and local human rights agencies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why KD?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Robust discretionary and billable hours-based bonus program</li>\n <li>Unlimited PTO for Attorneys</li>\n <li>Uncapped opportunities for advancement and professional development</li>\n <li>Collaborative, team-first culture with strong mentorship and support</li>\n <li>Sophisticated, meaningful work with direct client exposure</li>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits and wellness package</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Base Salary Range:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>$115,000 – $160,000</strong></p>\n<p><em>Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and does not guarantee a specific offer.
