The successful candidate will be a key project team member and will be responsible for supporting discovery and requirements gathering sessions with a diverse set of stakeholders and developing an enterprise modernization roadmap. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a complex, fast-moving environment, is a self-starter, has great attention to detail, and can work independently and within a team.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Be a hands-on Financial Management/ERP Architect and subject matter expert &nbsp;</li><li>Use expertise to support the discovery and analysis of existing financial/accounting technologies and processes and identify areas for process improvement that align with current ERP financial management systems &nbsp;</li><li>Use expertise to support collaboration with stakeholders to gather and define ERP requirements for financial management modernization &nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical oversight as part of PMO team helping client modernize legacy financial management systems to a modern platform &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee discovery, requirements gathering, and ERP roadmap development for a large, complex financial management modernization project inclusive of the following financial functions: General Ledger Accounting and sub-ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Management, Project and Grants Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Procurement, Treasury and Cash Management &nbsp;</li><li>Synthesize information from various functional area workshops to drive technical solution options and scope for large client organization &nbsp;</li><li>Oversee and help facilitate Design Sessions, capture client requirements, configure creative solutions, and mentor other junior consultants &nbsp;</li><li>Translate business requirements into technical specifications &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree and a minimum of SEVEN (7) years of relevant experience</li><li><strong>Experience in the initial phases of ERP discovery and implementation</strong> &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with financial management modernization and ERP modernization &nbsp;</li><li>Experience with one or more ERP systems: Workday, Oracle, SAP, CGI, or Peoplesoft &nbsp;</li><li>A proven leadership role in at least 3 ERP/Financial Management modernization efforts &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills &nbsp;</li><li>Technical and business experience with and understanding of core Financial functional areas, including General Ledger Accounting and sub-ledger accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Management, Inventory Management, Project and Grants Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Procurement, Treasury and Cash Management &nbsp;</li><li>A Public Trust background check is required.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with ERP modernization projects and financial management implementations.</li><li>Familiarity with public sector or financial services clients.</li></ul><p><em>Govplace&nbsp;</em><em>is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, innovative environment with the best employees.
