    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p><b>Job Title: Senior Lead - Financial Solutions</b></p><p></p><p><b>The Team </b></p><p></p><p></p><p>The Financial Solutions team, part of Fidelity’s Strategic Advisors Inc., is the central team that develops financial solutions and planning methodologies offered to our retail and workplace customers. </p><p>We help answer questions like “When can I retire?”, “Should I pay down my debt or invest?”, “What’s the real cost of leaving the workforce to care for a loved one?”, “How should I withdraw from accounts of multiple tax-registration in retirement?” etc.  The team also conducts research, provides thought leadership on a range of financial planning topics, and aids in investment product development. </p><p></p><p><b>The Purpose of the Role</b> </p><p></p><p>As Senior Lead, Financial Solutions, the candidate will be part of the Financial Solutions India Team at Strategic Advisors Inc., driving the development of advanced financial methodologies that underpin Fidelity’s planning and advisory offerings for both retail and workplace clients. The role entails executing the long-term strategic vision for financial planning frameworks and spearheading the creation of innovative financial solutions. The candidate will collaborate across multiple business units to transform concepts into market-ready solutions. </p><p></p><p></p><p><b>The Value You Deliver</b> </p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate should be capable of translating real-world problems into robust mathematical models. Given the uniqueness of each challenge the team faces, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to think creatively, and design new mathematical frameworks tailored to each distinct problem. </p><p></p><p>This role requires close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders—including business leaders, asset management, technology, and legal teams—to ensure seamless end-to-end development and integration of financial products and solutions within Fidelity’s existing advice and guidance ecosystem. </p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Expertise We Are Looking For</b> </p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in quantitative investment theories and optimization techniques (including Gurobi), along with a comprehensive understanding of U.S. financial systems, retirement planning, and tax regulations. Expertise in applying AI/ML solutions within the financial domain will be highly advantageous.
