Under the supervision of the assigned Clinical Supervisor, the Behavioral Health School Based Therapist delivers comprehensive therapeutic services to participants in a school setting. Through a community-based approach, the BH School Based Therapist provides individual therapy, intake/assessments, suicide risk assessment, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, family therapy, and leads groups in a school and community-based setting. In addition, they will provide referrals and coordination with family, school staff medical providers, primary physicians, and other community partners to ensure seamless services and comprehensive care of the participants we serve. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><br></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Key Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide individual, family, and group counseling to students</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop and implement personalized intervention plans</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Conduct assessments to identify students&#39; emotional and behavioral needs</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Collaborate with teachers, parents, primary care team, and administrators to support students&#39; holistic development</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Offer workshops and training sessions for staff and students on mental health issues</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain accurate and confidential records of student sessions and progress</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and develop comprehensive support plans</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Advocate for students&#39; mental health needs within the school community</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop and implement preventive programs and activities to promote mental health awareness</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Attend care team meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Adheres to applicable regulatory guidelines and laws, including but not limited to HIPAA/HITECH, CLIA, HRSA, NCQA PCMH and OSHA.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Other duties, as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Skills</strong></span></p><ul><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Behavioral Health Expertise: Ability to use therapeutic modalities to address the needs of the students and families on your caseload. Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective intervention plans. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support students&#39; well-being.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Medical/Mental Health Knowledge: Familiarity with common medical conditions and psychotropic medications. Strong understanding of child development and psychological theories.</li><li data-pasted=\"true\" style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Team Collaboration: Strong ability to function in a fast-paced school environment.
