This role requires more than identifying problems; it requires the ability to connect with people, gain buy-in, and drive real behaviour change.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You won’t be successful in this role by standing on the outside. You’ll succeed in being present, respected, and working alongside crews to make safety practical, understood, and consistently followed.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0); font-weight: bold\">What you will do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build strong, day-to-day relationships with crews, supervisors, and sub-trades</li>\n<li>Be present on the floor – observing, engaging and coaching in real time</li>\n<li>Address unsafe acts directly, while working with individuals to reinforce expectations</li>\n<li>Conduct site inspections and proactively identify hazards before they escalate</li>\n<li>Lead safety meetings, orientations, and training that are practical and engaging</li>\n<li>Investigate incidents and near misses, focusing on prevention and learning</li>\n<li>Monitor compliance across crews and sub-trades, ensuring standards are understood and followed</li>\n<li>Tract and report safety data, ensuring follow-through on all corrective actions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0); font-weight: bold\">What we are looking for</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Relationship builder – </span>earns trust and credibility with crews at all levels</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Confident and approachable</span> – able to step in when needed, without creating resistance</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Influential communicator</span> – can gain buy-in and drive behaviour change, not just enforce rules</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Present and engaged</span> – spends time on the floor, not just behind a desk</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Observant and proactive</span> – identifies risks early and acts before issues escalate</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Action-oriented – </span>follows issues through to resolution</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Detail focused – </span>understands how small gaps can lead to bigger incidents</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0); font-weight: bold\">Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants successful in the interview process will be asked to complete a pre-employment assessment as part of the final hiring process</li>\n<li>Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation</li>\n<li>Available to work Monday – Friday 11:00am – 9pm</li>\n<li>Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible, willing to work overtime and the occasional Saturday</li>\n<li>Valid Standard First Aid &amp; CPR</li>\n<li>Knowledge of Provincial OH&amp;S, WHMIS, WCB and related legislation</li>\n<li>Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety</li>\n<li>Familiar with Microsoft Office</li>\n<li>Physically fit with the ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods</li>\n<li>Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)</li>\n<li>Outstanding critical thinking skills</li>\n<li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0); font-weight: bold\">Assets</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>NCSO designation or a desire to achieve</li>\n<li>General construction knowledge or background</li>\n<li>Experience working in a manufacturing facility or construction environment</li>\n<li>WHMIS 2015 Training the Trainer certification</li>\n<li>Understanding of SiteDocs or related safety software</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0); font-weight: bold\">What Eagle Builders Offers</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive wages based on experience, with regular evaluations</li>\n<li>6% vacation pay, health coverage, and wellness support</li>\n<li>Sundays off and a culture that values time with family</li>\n<li>Clothing program, meal program, fuel discounts, and employee events</li>\n<li>Clear training roadmaps and opportunities for growth</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(255, 81, 0)\">This role isn’t about standing on the sidelines – it’s about earning respect on the floor and using to drive real change.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Note: </em></span><em>We appreciate all applications; however, only candidates selected for pre-screen will be contacted.</em></p>",
