          "text": "<p><strong>Job Function:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>The&#xa0;FCS Application Engineer&#xa0;provides technical support and product&#xa0;expertise&#xa0;for mono-&#xa0;couplings, multi-couplings, robotic tool changers, and quick mold change systems. The individual must handle daily technical inquiries,&#xa0;assist&#xa0;sales teams with customer&#xa0;engagements, recommend suitable&#xa0;products&#xa0;or collaborate with R&amp;D in developing custom solutions for unique applications, and create tailored quotations. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with European factory representatives to ensure project alignment and success.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Reports to:&#xa0;</strong></p><p>FCS Applications Manager&#xa0;–&#xa0;North&#xa0;America&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities and Objectives:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li><p>Handle day-to-day technical questions from&#xa0;salesmen, customer service and customers about the mono-coupling, multi-coupling, robotic tool changer, and quick mold change product lines&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Be available during work hours to&#xa0;assist&#xa0;outside sales team on virtual and in-person customer meetings that require expert level product knowledge&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Assist&#xa0;potential customers in&#xa0;determining&#xa0;which specific products best fit the customer’s application from a standard product portfolio&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Coordinate with the customer, engineering, &amp; outside sales teams to develop customized solutions for applications that the standard product portfolio do not fit&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare quotations for customized products while balancing the best fit for the customer application &amp; cost effectiveness&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Liaison with European factory representatives on open projects&#xa0;</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Adheres to all safety,&#xa0;quality&#xa0;and environmental standards&#xa0;</p></li></ul>",
