    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Position Summary:</p><p>The Social Work Manager will support the development of Social Work team in our home through the leadership of the department. They will also be responsible for creating and sustaining social work standards of practice and will oversee quality assurance for the practice of social work in the organization. In addition, this position will be called upon to find solutions to issues concerning the elders&rsquo;, family and facility which impact quality of life and well-being. In addition to maintaining quality for the clinical practice of social work, this leadership position directly supervises the social work team and works collaboratively with the Interdisciplinary team to ensures quality care, and supports the emotional needs of elders</p><p><br></p><p>Qualifications &amp; Education Required:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Poses graduate studies in Social Work from an accredited university</li><li>At least a 3 years experience in the health care industry</li><li>At least 2 years experience in a administrative/supervisory position in a social agency</li><li>Knowledge in discharge planning, SNF, LTC, and Rehab settings</li><li>Excellent communication and verbal skills</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Core Organizational Competencies:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><strong>St. John&rsquo;s Brand Characteristics</strong> - Embrace living by being Friendly, Respectful, Responsive, Compassionate, Innovative and Fun towards elders, families and colleagues.</li><li><strong>Teamwork&nbsp;</strong>- Actively participates. Assist as needed with election of officers and other issues as they are identified</li><li>Prepare annual budget and initiate procedure to control costs</li><li>Maintain statistical and analytical reports of Social Work interventions, complaints, and clinical education as needed</li><li>Facility grievance officer; responsible for reviewing and maintaining all formal complaints.</li><li>Clinically oriented and train new social work employees to meet standards in their neighborhood</li><li>Facilitate room change process, working with the neighborhood leadership team to ensure effective room changes to meet the needs of the residents</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:.75in;\"><br></p><p>Physical Requirements:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Occasional moving and lifting, pushing, pulling to 35 lbs.
