  "BriefDescription": "The Accountant provides oversight and management of the workflow in the areas of Accounting, Cashiering and Accounts Payable. Monitors and analyzes all bank accounts for accuracy and applies knowledge of the University general ledger system to ensure proper application of general ledger account codes and University policies and procedures. The Accountant also troubleshoots cash and accounting issues requiring research and/or analysis and determines an appropriate resolution of all such issues, and is responsible for periodic account and online payment system reconciliations.  \nReporting to the Accounting Manager, this position ensures duties and responsibilities are carried out with an awareness of the impact to the general ledger (GL) and in accordance with university policies",
