This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; initiating and participating in community development initiatives and participating in evaluative projects. Human Resources Exemption: No Multi-Site: Yes Experience Three years fulltime experience as a Registered Nurse One year experience in community needs assessment/development/health promotion Education Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke Competencies Leadership skills Listening skills High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues Decision making skills Critical thinking skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to demonstrate initiative, independent judgment & organizational skills Ability to provide holistic care to individuals,families & the community Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change.
