Meritus provides critical infrastructure protection, security services, and operational support to federal agencies throughout the United States.</p><p>Meritus is committed to supporting national security missions by delivering highly trained personnel and operational excellence to government partners.</p><hr><h1>Position Summary</h1><p>Meritus Solutions Group is seeking a detail-oriented Security Badging Clerk to support Pass and ID operations at Naval Base Kitsap (NBK).</p><p>The Security Badging Clerk plays a critical role in maintaining installation security by processing credentials, issuing badges and passes, maintaining access control records, and supporting security clearance and identification processes.</p><p>This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong customer service skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work within a highly regulated federal security environment.</p><hr><h1>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h1><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li><p>Provide Pass and ID services in support of Naval Base Kitsap security operations</p></li><li><p>Verify identity documentation and eligibility requirements for badge issuance</p></li><li><p>Process and issue permanent badges in accordance with federal, Navy, and local security requirements</p></li><li><p>Prepare and issue Military Limited Area (MLA) badges to authorized personnel</p></li><li><p>Issue visitor passes and temporary access credentials</p></li><li><p>Perform fingerprinting services for security clearances, passport applications, and identification requirements</p></li><li><p>Enter and maintain badge coding information within government-furnished Access Control Systems</p></li><li><p>Manage and maintain badge issuance, fingerprinting, and access records databases</p></li><li><p>Safeguard sensitive identification documents and Personally Identifiable Information (PII)</p></li><li><p>Ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles receive installation access credentials</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation</p></li><li><p>Provide professional customer service to military personnel, contractors, visitors, and government personnel</p></li><li><p>Maintain confidentiality and operational security at all times</p></li><li><p>Perform additional duties as assigned by contract leadership</p></li></ul><hr><h1>Minimum Qualifications</h1><p>Applicants must:</p><ul><li><p>Be a U.S. Citizen</p></li><li><p>Possess and maintain a Secret Security Clearance</p></li><li><p>Be at least 21 years of age, or be an honorably discharged veteran</p></li><li><p>Successfully pass:</p><ul><li><p>Background investigation</p></li><li><p>Drug screening</p></li><li><p>Any required follow-up testing</p></li></ul></li><li><p>Possess a valid Driver&#39;s License</p></li><li><p>Have 20/20 correctable vision in each eye</p></li><li><p>Be able to distinguish basic colors and hear conversational speech clearly</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Be proficient with computers, databases, and data entry systems</p></li><li><p>Be capable of exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality</p></li><li><p>Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English</p></li><li><p>Be willing and able to work mission-essential assignments during varying operational conditions, including nights, weekends, holidays, adverse weather, and elevated Force Protection Conditions</p></li></ul><hr><h1>Education Requirements</h1><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or GED required</p></li><li><p>Diploma must be from an institution accredited by the U.S. Department of Education</p></li></ul><hr><h1>Required Certifications</h1><p>Applicants must possess:</p><ul><li><p>Valid Driver&#39;s License</p></li><li><p>CPR / First Aid / AED Certification</p></li></ul><hr><h1>Compensation</h1><table style=\"width: 15%;\"><colgroup><col style=\"width: 59.5039%;\"><col style=\"width: 40.4961%;\"></colgroup><thead><tr><th>Compensation Type</th><th align=\"right\">Amount</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Base Pay</td><td align=\"right\">$26.44/hour</td></tr><tr><td>Health &amp;
