Under proper supervision, the student worker will be responsible for a range of tasks.<br>\n Responsibilities: The specific duties of this student worker may include:<br>\n Inventorying, processing, and preserving archival and library collections and building finding aids.<br>\n Working on special projects related to the manuscript, map, photo, and rare book collections.<br>\n Monitoring researchers in the Guy B. Harrison, Jr. Reading Room and assisting patrons with scanning.<br>\n Assisting with special projects and duties as assigned.<br>\n Communicating with other Baylor Libraries student workers and participating in professional development activities like reading room desk training, Cuadra STAR, LOC, and DDS online trainings.</p>\n<p>Note: Ability to work with limited supervision and be able to show initiative and good decision-making within the assigned area. Must be a critical thinker, detailed oriented, an experienced user of Microsoft Word and Excel, and possess good research and writing skills. Must be able to lift boxes and other heavy materials.</p>\n<p>Compensation: Stipend of $10 per hour for undergraduate for up to 20 hours per week.<br>\n Work Schedule: Minimum 10hrs per week between the hours of 8am and 5pm<br>\n Desired Length of Employment: Fall/Ongoing<br>\n Education: Minimum cumulative Baylor grade point average 2.5</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform business operations duties for assigned area of responsibility&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service to clients &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and take initiative&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Assist with various projects, activities and tasks related to business operations&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to comply with University policies &nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain regular and punctual attendance&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Employer: Baylor University</p>\n<p>Work Location:&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Work Address:1429 S 5th Street, Waco, TX 76798</p>",
