We’re looking for an energetic, compassionate, and collaborative professional to join our vibrant school community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As a Middle School Learning Strategist &amp; Counsellor, you will become a key member of a dynamic Learning Strategist team, working closely with a dedicated, three-person counselling team.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You’ll support Middle School students in developing essential executive functioning and social-emotional skills, while also having opportunities to work with Junior School students in a counselling capacity. Your work will help shape confident, capable learners ready to navigate both school and life.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Collaborate with the Learning Strategies team to support diverse learners</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Teach and strengthen executive functioning skills like organisation, planning, and goal-setting</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design and facilitate engaging social skills groups</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide one-on-one and small group counselling support</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Partner with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student growth</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Deliver workshops and presentations for students and staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Contribute to student learning plans and well-being strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Connect families with community resources and support services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in a collaborative counselling team focused on student wellness</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bachelor’s degree in Education</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Valid British Columbia teaching certification</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Master’s degree in School Counselling and/or Counselling Psychology</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Legal authorization to work in Canada</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience working in multicultural and diverse school environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Confidence leading group sessions and workshops</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work both independently and as part of a team</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Join our Community</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">We are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace.
