    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to join our team in a role that blends hands-on product design with opportunities for continued professional development. This position is well suited for an engineer with a solid foundation in mechanical/structural design who is ready to contribute independently, collaborate with senior engineers and designers, and take ownership of project components from concept through production. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 24px \"><li>Design and model mechanical/structural parts and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor</li><li>Review of Architectural and Structural plans for projects</li><li>Generate and maintain detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings to support development and production</li><li>Participate in sustaining engineering activities to improve or maintain current product types</li><li>Assist other designers when needed and support structural layout development for new and existing designs</li><li>Perform research to evaluate feasibility, functionality, and performance of components and systems</li><li>Collaborate across departments when needed to meet engineering and production deadlines</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Associate Degree in Engineering Design or similar field of study</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering (structural focus) is preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">2 to 5 years of experience in mechanical or structural design preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or comparable CAD software</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Structural detailing experience is preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Working knowledge of standard product design practices, manufacturing processes, and regulatory guidelines</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Effective communication skills, both written and verbal</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-left: 24px \"><li>Frequent use of hands for tools, CAD equipment, and materials handling</li><li>Occasional standing, kneeling, or lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required</li><li>Visual acuity necessary for detailed design and inspection tasks</li></ul><p><strong>Why Choose Us? &nbsp;</strong></p><p>Raycap, Inc. has decades of experience creating products that protect and support the world&rsquo;s most valuable assets from power and lightning surges.
