At Gray, you’ll find a culture built on teamwork, accountability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>“Personal growth precedes Gray’s growth.” – Stephen Gray, President & CEO, Gray, Inc.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What We Expect</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Studies specifications to assist planning procedures for construction on the basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.</li>\n <li>Assist MEP Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.</li>\n <li>Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval of MEP Project/Site Manager.</li>\n <li>Assist in the development of MEP project schedule within the entire construction schedule.  Prepare estimates in areas of MEP self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.  Individual poses the ability to assist in coordination/management of all trades throughout build process.</li>\n <li>Solicit prices from subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers for review and approval by MEP Project Managers.  (This will be based on a list of subs and vendors established by the MEP Project Manager and MEP Site Manager at the beginning of project.)</li>\n <li>Assist in selection of qualified bidders and negotiate final prices.</li>\n <li>Assist in drafting subcontracts and purchase orders for MEP Project Manger's review and approval.</li>\n <li>Assist in the preparation of various reports, i.e. cost to complete, monthly billings and status reports.</li>\n <li>Review all drawings, i.e. P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural, etc. when they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a current set at all times.</li>\n <li>Assist in pricing work, draft changes and change orders to be reviewed by MEP Project Manager.</li>\n <li>Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.</li>\n <li>Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.</li>\n <li>Schedule work, including subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Determine materials, equipment and tools needed.</li>\n <li>Secure appropriate supply sources.</li>\n <li>Set up and close out construction site.</li>\n <li>Serve as on-site Safety Officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project.  And also, will be required to participate in the company’s safety portion of the QMS program.</li>\n <li>Responsible for procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.</li>\n <li>Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.</li>\n <li>Individual will consult with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.</li>\n <li>Prepares or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports and/or direction from MEP Project Manager.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company, industry standard, and job specifications. </li>\n <li>Will insure the company QMS program is used and maintained in accordance to company standards.  Individual will be able to generate reports and traceability for continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray’s safety program on site.</li>\n <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li>\n <li>Overtime may be required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2> Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Who We Want</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and a minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n <li>Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications. </li>\n <li>The new team member should be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development.
