Theatre at West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Full-time Visiting Professor of Music to serve as Director of Bands and Percussion* instructor.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions of the position:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct the Marching Hilltoppers and Concert Band</li>\n<li>Direct other ensembles as needed by the program and according to the candidate's expertise</li>\n<li>Coordinate instruments and equipment related to the duties of a Director of Bands</li>\n<li>Teach Applied Lessons. *Percussion is preferred but woodwinds and high brass candidates will also be considered</li>\n<li>Teach other courses as needed by the program and according to the candidate's expertise and experience</li>\n<li>Lead Recruitment efforts for all degrees: Music Education, Music Performance, and Music Technology</li>\n<li>Positively represent the program, department, college, and university at on-campus and off-campus performances and other events<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Education &amp; Experience Requirements: </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4e4c4a; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters degree in Music required, Doctorate preferred</li>\n<li>Percussionist preferred but woodwinds and high brass candidates will also be considered</li>\n<li>Experience leading collegiate Marching Band and Concert Band is required</li>\n<li>Steel Band experience is preferred<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;
