    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Madera Community Hospital</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Located in the heart of Central California, Madera Community Hospital is a General Acute Care, private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving and maintaining the health and wellness of residents throughout the Central Valley.  We are committed to identifying and serving our community's needs with compassion, concern, care and safety for every patient.  Madera Community Hospital is a growing acute care facility seeking talented individuals with a drive to provide quality care and dedicated to making a difference in our community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The House Supervisor is responsible to manage all administrative and nursing activities, directly and indirectly related to patient care services to all patient populations throughout the Hospital.  The supervisor is responsible for the management of department resources and staffing adjustments.  The House Supervisor demonstrates an understanding of the functional and or development age of the individuals served.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px\"><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">The House Supervisor represents Administration and is responsible for performing all administrative functions which are delegated by the Chief Nursing Officer and CEO.  During this time, assumes decision making in authorized and delegated responsibilities and follows the MCH chain of command for reporting.  The incumbent must maintain a full understanding and support the Hospital Mission and Vision Statement and its Performance Improvement Programs as well as demonstrate behavior consistent with the Hospital’s policies and procedures. </span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Requires c</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">ompletion of Registered Nurse program, prefer BSN or MSN</span><span>.  Requires </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Minimum 5 years Medical Surgical, Critical Care or applicable experience in an acute care hospital setting, with d</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">emonstrated knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide clinical and administrative support in the MCH areas of ICU, Medical Surgical, Emergency, and Surgical Services.  </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Proven 2 - 3 years strong leadership and supervisory management skills in area of expertise with excellent judgment skills.  </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Proven ability to make decisions using the scientific approach to problem solving.</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Possess fundamental knowledge of the principles of administration and personnel management and has advance preparation in a clinical specialty area, nursing administration and/or teaching.  </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.  </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Positive professional attitude and guest relations. </span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Requires </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Current</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> State</span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"> of California Board of Registered Nursing License, </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Current American Heart Association BCLS certificate, and </span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Current American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certificate.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Madera Community Hospital provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</span></p>",
