This is a strategic leadership role focused on regulatory navigation, market development, key partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Marketing, Product, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure compliance, build brand presence, and deliver sustainable business results in Mexico’s fintech and crypto sector.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The role may include serving as (or coordinating with) the local legal representative, AML Compliance Representative, and key personnel for regulatory matters.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Regulatory Compliance &amp; Governance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Act as local director/legal representative of the Mexican entity, ensuring full compliance with corporate, tax, legal, data protection, and consumer protection requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Serve as or oversee the MLRO/key compliance officer for AML registration under LFPIORPI (virtual assets and credit card activities) and support fintech licensing (e.g., IFPE under Ley Fintech) with CNBV and Banxico.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Build and maintain relationships with regulators (CNBV, Banxico, UIF, SHCP, SAT) and industry bodies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Oversee licensing applications, regulatory engagements, and ongoing compliance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Partnership &amp; Channel Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Identify, negotiate, and manage partnerships with local banks (e.g., BBVA, Banorte, Citibanamex), payment processors, card networks, and financial institutions for fiat on/off-ramps, SPEI, and credit card support.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to optimize local integrations and service delivery.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Business Development &amp; Revenue Growth</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Drive user acquisition, market share, and revenue growth in Mexico.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products (crypto payments, virtual assets, credit cards).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Ensure high customer satisfaction while meeting local consumer protection standards.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Meets regulatory “fit and proper” requirements for key personnel in Mexican fintech/financial services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Certifications in Mexican financial regulations (AML/CFT, fintech) are a strong plus.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, banking, or crypto in Mexico/LATAM, with at least 2 years in senior leadership roles.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Strong knowledge of crypto/blockchain, Mexican regulations (Ley Fintech, LFPIORPI, CNBV/Banxico rules), and local market dynamics.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships (especially with banks and payment providers), and scaling operations in Mexico.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Established network with Mexican banks, regulators, and fintech players is highly advantageous.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Native or professional fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English.</span></li>\n</ul>",
