    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Kimley-Horn's Atlanta, Georgia (GA) office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Renewable Energy team! This is not a remote position.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the design of electrical systems including renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, building electrical, and battery storage projects</li>\n <li>Perform design on a wide variety of projects, such as photometrics and lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and more</li>\n <li>Responsible for the development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams</li>\n <li>Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices</li>\n <li>Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the local market and across the country</li>\n <li>Expected to assist in mentoring, training, and growing a team to expand our Renewable Energy practice</li>\n <li>Responsible for the development of reports and design documents, including electrical design plans, EV charging infrastructure, equipment selection, solar system sizing, and power analyses</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>4+ years experience in an Electrical Engineering role</li>\n <li>Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)</li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering </li>\n <li>Understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards</li>\n <li>Willingness to travel to support site visits and client meetings, as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team; both collaborating with and mentoring junior staff</li>\n <li>Preferred\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience in utility-scale PV, MEP, HVAC, wind generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, microgrid, substation, or data center designs</li>\n   <li>Experience in engineering project management</li>\n   <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD</li>\n   <li>Experience in power system analysis using SKM, ETAP, or equivalent</li>\n   <li>Experience in transient studies using PSCAD, EMTP-RV, or equivalent</li>\n   <li>Experience in lighting designs and photometrics using AGI32, or equivalent</li>\n   <li>Comfortable programming in Python or MATLAB#LI-AT1</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why Kimley-Horn?</h2>\n<p>At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
