Other benefits include employer pension matching, shift differential, incentive/premium pay, free annual biometric screening and paid volunteer time off.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RiverView is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position: </strong>Chemical Dependency Counselor </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: </strong>Full-Time (1.0 fte) - 80 hours per pay period<strong>Recovery Center hours</strong>: Varied (10am to 6pm)</p>\n<p><strong>Pay Range: </strong>$57,700 - $80,870 (D.O.E - dependent upon experience)</p>\n<p><strong>Job Status: </strong>Exempt, benefitted position</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>RiverView Recovery Center has a full-time (80-hours per pay period) opening for a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), who will mainly work in our Crookston office, however some work hours may be done hybrid. Counselor will be responsible for a range of clinical services, including, but not limited to: Facilitation of Group Counseling; Facilitation of Individual Counseling; Chemical Health Assessments (Comprehensive Assessment); Crisis Management; and Treatment Coordination. </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Dependency, Addiction Studies, or an equivalent human services field (e.g., Social Work with an emphasis in Addiction Studies).</li>\n <li>Must possess or be eligible to obtain Licensure as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.</li>\n <li>Active ADC-T permit from the Board of Behavioral Health may be considered</li>\n <li>Must maintain a current and valid LADC license with bi-annual renewal.</li>\n <li>If the candidate has a personal history of substance use disorder, they must be free from chemical use problems for at least 2 years.</li>\n <li>Must have completed a minimum 12-hour training in co-occurring disorders, or be willing to complete this training within 6 months of hire (per MN Statute 245G.13).</li>\n <li>Must pass background and required state licensing checks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of 12 hours of co-occurring education (or willingness to complete within 6 months of employment).</li>\n <li>Experience working with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards in behavioral health settings.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in residential or outpatient chemical dependency treatment settings.</li>\n</ul>",
