Equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills are highly utilized in the position. The team member will work under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why work for H&K Group, Inc.? </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience</li>\n <li>100% Company-paid Health Benefits</li>\n <li>401(k) Savings and Investment Plan</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement programs available to qualifying employees for approved programs</li>\n <li>Additional training programs including on the job, online through H&K Academy, manufacturer offered training, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform all work adhering to OSHA/MSHA and H&K Safety policies</li>\n <li>Carrying out troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs of production machines, utilities, and equipment</li>\n <li>Clean and maintain the Maintenance Shop tools and equipment as needed</li>\n <li>Complete work orders in a timely manner</li>\n <li>Diagnosing electrical malfunctions and taking corrective actions</li>\n <li>Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system inspections</li>\n <li>Train on use and maintenance of new tools</li>\n <li>May be called upon to initiate, lead and design small projects as directed</li>\n <li>Oil and grease equipment as well as filter and valve replacements</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered</li>\n </ul>\n <li>10 years related experience</li>\n <li>Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems  on all assigned equipment</li>\n <li>Welding experience</li>\n <li>Must be able to work overtime as scheduled by management</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Clean driving record</li>\n <li>Computer skills including data entry, programing, MS Office (Outlook, Excel)</li>\n <li>Verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to use mechanics hand tools</li>\n <li>Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed</li>\n <li>Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> <strong>Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Block machine maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Excellent troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Conveyor repair and operations experience</li>\n <li>Metal fabrication</li>\n <li>Experience with pneumatic, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical equipment</li>\n <li>OSHA, MSHA, or other relevant safety certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally required to: </li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Stand, walk, sit </li>\n  <li>Use hands to finger and feel</li>\n  <li>Talk or hear</li>\n  <li>Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds </li>\n  <li>Drive up to 2 hours</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Occasionally required to work outdoors in all environments at times</li>\n <li>Hours regularly exceed 40/week and 8/day</li>\n <li>Noise level is loud at times</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Easton Block and Supply </strong>(EB&S) has been a proud member of H&K Group, Inc.’s (H&K’s) Building Materials segment since 1989.
