This individual will setup and operate conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines and machining centers to fabricate both metallic and nonmetallic parts.</p>\n<h2>Your Impact</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Determine dimensions/tolerances of finished parts and setup requirements based on blueprints, sketch drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts.</li>\n <li>Measure dimensions and reference points for First Article approvals and In-process inspection.</li>\n <li>Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.).</li>\n <li>Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors (speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut).</li>\n <li>Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting controls or media as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Minimum Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.</li>\n <li>Must have at least 2 years of experience as CNC Machinist.</li>\n <li>Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.</li>\n <li>Ability to write routine reports and the ability to effectively communicate with individuals or groups.</li>\n <li>Ability to comprehend and communicate instructions and strong problem solving capabilities.</li>\n <li>Prefer experience in a medium to large plant.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds</li>\n <li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Our Investment in You</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive Compensation Packages</li>\n <li>8 Paid National Holidays & 4 additional Floating Holidays</li>\n <li>PTO that includes Vacation and Sick time</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits</li>\n <li>401k Savings and Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Paid Parental Bonding Leave for New Parents</li>\n <li>Flexible Work Schedules and Part-time Opportunities</li>\n <li>Generous Employee Referral Bonus Program</li>\n <li>Mentorship Programs- Mentor and Mentee</li>\n <li>Relocation Assistance</li>\n <li>Volunteering for Local and National events such as Hanger’s BAKA Bootcamp and EmpowerFest</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Hanger, Inc. is committed to providing equal employment opportunity in all aspects of the employer-employee relationship.
