Apply today and become part of a team committed to making a difference! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<strong>As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee you will do the following:</strong>\n<strong>- Dispatch & Logistics Support- Respond to customer and courier inquiries regarding routed and STAT prescription deliveries.- Prepare same-day and mail-order prescriptions for delivery via courier and FedEx.</strong>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong><strong>Monday - Friday</strong><strong>12:00pm - 8:00pm (2nd shift)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Saturday and Sunday (every 3 week)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Rotating Holidays</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong><u>How YOU will benefit:</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Supportive team with room to work independently</li>\n <li>Ongoing training and career growth</li>\n <li>Advancement opportunities in a growing company</li>\n <li>Referral bonuses</li>\n <li><strong>We cover Pharmacy Technician license fees</strong> (new hires & current staff eligible)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong><u>As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee you will: </u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Prescription Fulfillment & Accuracy</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fills prescription items in compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, packaging medications for dispensing and delivery while meeting accuracy and productivity standards.</li>\n <li>Labels products with cautionary and auxiliary information to ensure patient safety.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Medication Preparation & Compounding</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, with experience in non-sterile compounding.</li>\n <li>Performs sterile compounding and IV prescription preparation in accordance with PharMerica’s quality standards and State Board of Pharmacy regulations.</li>\n <li>Cleans and maintains sterile compounding rooms per USP 797 guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Inventory & Supply Management</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in periodic pharmacy inventory, checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing expired items.</li>\n <li>Reconciles and fills Emergency Drug Kit (EDK) boxes as needed.</li>\n <li>Processes returned medications for credit or destruction in compliance with regulatory standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Order Entry & Documentation</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs order entry for new and refill prescriptions with precision.</li>\n <li>Files documentation as required by pharmacy regulations to maintain compliance and audit readiness.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Customer & Facility Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responds to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and accurate information.</li>\n <li>Coordinates with facility staff to ensure timely medication delivery and resolution of issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Duties</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs other assigned tasks to support pharmacy operations and patient care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications </strong>  </p>\n<p>Required:   </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent.  </li>\n <li>Ability to operate a computer</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Capacity to work independently and collaborate with a team accurately and efficiently</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business day </em> </p>\n<h2>About our Line of Business</h2>OnePoint Patient Care, an affiliate of PharMerica, is the nation’s leading independent provider of community-based hospice pharmacy and pharmacy benefits management (PBM) services – offering hospices nationwide flexible and adaptable solutions for their hospice pharmacy needs.
