We are proud to be formally recognized with industry and ministerial awards for innovation and environmental stewardship, while managing long-term contracts within both provincial and federal jurisdictions.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are looking to expand our highway maintenance operations areas and are preparing a response to an RFP announced by the Provincial Government for a highway maintenance contract in Eastern and Central Alberta.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As such, LaPrairie Works is in search for applications to fill the role of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Equipment Operator </span>for Alberta – Oyen (CMA 519) - Highway Maintenance Operations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The selected candidates will be hired should LaPrairie Works be successful in procuring the contract for this area.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Roles and Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures</li>\n<li>Receive directions from site foreman regarding day to day operations and tasks</li>\n<li>Responsible for and/or assists in fueling and filling all the fluids in the equipment to the right level. Quantity of fuel and fluids must be written and reported in the inspection log.</li>\n<li>Assists in the maintenance works of the equipment.</li>\n<li>Maintain tidiness around site and equipment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit\">Experience in equipment operations including tractor-trailers, snowplow trucks with sanders, maintenance graders, and/or other highway maintenance / construction equipment.</span></li>\n<li>Experience and ability to perform various highway maintenance activities including highway maintenance labour work, road and bridge maintenance, and other construction activities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit\">A valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit\">Ability to work day and night shifts.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit\">Demonstrated initiative with solid HSE fundamentals and a sound work ethic.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">LaPrairie Works Inc provides Industry-leading compensation and benefits, professional training, and development opportunities and all within a supportive, dynamic, and proactive work environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, including a resume and cover letter.
