          "text": "<p>We are currently seeking a qualified <strong>Completions&#xa0;Mechanical &amp; Piping Superintendent&#xa0;</strong>to join our process area material conveyance and handling project<strong>&#xa0;</strong>team, based out of&#xa0;<strong>Leroy, SK</strong>. The Mechanical &amp; Piping Superintendent will be responsible for&#xa0;supervising and overseeing SMPEI field construction activities from contractors such as install of stick-built steel&#xa0; &amp; piping,&#xa0;modular PAU’s of stair towers, transfer tower and conveyor galleries, conveyor systems installation and alignment, mechanical equipment, and&#xa0;have the opportunity to work on the Hatch Bantrel Joint Venture (HBJV) to execute engineering and construction on the BHP Jansen Potash Mine Project in Saskatchewan. After successfully completing the Definition Phase Study for the project, the HBJV is currently carrying out the Detailed Engineering Phase for the Processing, Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) and Mining Areas of the 4.5 Mtpa Stage 1 Potash Mine. With a published TIC of US $5.3-5.7 Billion this will represent one of the largest projects and private investments in Canada. The HBJV will use a hybrid of best-in-class new developing technologies and systems as well as the proven HBJV suite of tools to execute this exciting project.&#xa0;</p><p><a href=\"https://www.bantrel.com/careers\"><strong>Join us</strong></a><strong><u>&#xa0;</u></strong>in this&#xa0;<strong>full-time&#xa0;permanent</strong>&#xa0;role</p><p><strong>* Please note this position is not eligible for a relocation subsidy or living out allowance. This will be a camp position on a 14&#xa0;day on 7&#xa0;days off&#xa0;rotation. Day shift.</strong></p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures the effective implementation of Jansen Health, Safety and&#xa0;Environmental (HSE) processes, plans, procedures and ensures alignment&#xa0;with the project goals.&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>Embraces and actively participates in the HSE Field Leadership program.</li><li>Responsible for piping erection and mechanical equipment install operations. Supervises and coordinates contractors’ operations. &#xa0;Deals directly with contractors in the field.&#xa0;Monitors and ensures assigned construction contractor’s activities and&#xa0;performance follows expectations (i.e. within schedule and budget, in compliance with HSE requirements). Performs regular field inspections.</li><li>Validates the sequence of activities and level of effort, and provide support to the area manager to complete the execution analysis,</li><li>Operates day-to-day ensuring that activities are prioritized in line with&#xa0;broader objectives.</li><li>Proactively identifies field changes, in collaboration with Project Construction Coordinators and Field Engineering representatives. Ensure directives are clear, concise, and communicated timely. Ensure that all stakeholders involved completely understand what is relevant. Ensure no work undertaken before management review and approve.</li><li>Liaise and coordinate with HBJV Field Engineering, Site Material Management, Contracts, Project Controls, Quality, HSE, Common Services and Commissioning (i.e., actively supports Field Engineering team in the resolution of technical queries and Quality team&#xa0;with NCR resolutions).</li><li>Contribute to site-wide traffic management planning, management of temporary infrastructure.</li><li>Manages the review, monitoring, and communication of changes for SIMOPs (simultaneous operations).</li><li>Contributing to constructability reviews to ensure upcoming scopes are&#xa0;thoroughly planned and do not include fatal flaws.&#xa0;</li><li>Works closely with other superintendents within the surface process IPT and will be&#xa0;required to backfill for them during shift and when on leave.&#xa0;</li><li>Manages his time effectively and adhering to&#xa0;deadlines.</li><li>Participation in the Jansen Risk Program.</li><li>Validates reports and forecasts, including summary of construction progress, job manpower forecasts, and provide input related to cost forecasts.</li><li>Reviews and approves contractor permits, and requests.</li><li>Adheres to all project job instructions, SOP’s, Bantrel Construction procedures while maintaining the corporate code of ethics.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><ul></ul>",
