UVA Health is seeking a General Urologist to join and help grow a robust community-based urology program serving the Culpeper community and surrounding region. This opportunity is designed for a physician who values broad-scope urology practice, strong community relationships, and the ability to shape local urologic services while remaining connected to the academic resources of UVA Health.
The position is focused on delivering accessible, high-quality urologic care, meeting strong and increasing demand across these growing communities.
Community-focused urology practice addressing a clear and growing local need Broad general urology practice with a mix of clinic, procedures, and surgery Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships and a loyal referral base Close collaboration with primary care and community-based specialists Ability to influence service development, workflows, and care delivery at the local level Practice & Team Environment:
Community-based practice with a strong emphasis on patient access and care coordination Existing general urology coverage with access to subspecialty consultation as needed Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support Experienced nursing, clinical, and administrative teams Leadership committed to physician engagement, sustainable growth, and operational excellence Highly engaged executive team invested in the community and providing high-quality care in a community-based setting.
