Acting as the primary tactical counterpart to the Global Systems Manager, you will turn high-level infrastructure plans into reality. In this role, you aren&rsquo;t just a ticket-closer; you are the hands-on expert ensuring our international sites are connected, compliant, and operational.</p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Technical Escalation Lead:</strong> Serve as the &quot;Level 2/3&quot; expert. When the helpdesk faces a complex, non-routine hardware or software issue, you are the problem solver who steps in to fix it.</li><li><strong>Infrastructure Execution:</strong> Get hands-on with the physical layer. You will support the installation, cabling, and racking of servers, switches, and power (UPS) hardware at global sites.</li><li><strong>Systems &amp; Virtualization Support:</strong> Maintain the health of our virtual environment. You will support the lifecycle of Virtual Machines (VMs) and ensure our Hyper-V platforms are running smoothly.</li><li><strong>Telephony &amp; Comms:</strong> Assist in the setup and troubleshooting of company PBX and VoIP systems to keep our global teams communicating effectively.</li><li><strong>Global Field Projects (International Travel):</strong> Be the face of IT on the ground. You will travel internationally (approx. 10%) to execute infrastructure projects, manage new office setups, and handle site expansions.</li><li><strong>Operational Continuity:</strong> Execute critical system maintenance to ensure zero business disruption. (Note: This occasionally requires flexible hours during off-peak windows).</li><li><strong>Asset Coordination:</strong> Work with the Manager to track global hardware lifecycles. You will help maintain the pristine documentation and organization of our server room environments.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><strong>Technical Background:</strong> 3&ndash;5 years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure or hardware support role.</li><li><strong>Core Tech:</strong> Practical experience with Hypervisors, Virtual Machines, and server hardware is essential.</li><li><strong>Networking:</strong> A solid understanding of physical network troubleshooting and rack management.</li><li><strong>Travel Ready:</strong> The role involves project-based travel to global sites. While you may be US-based for extended periods, you must be ready to travel for concurrent deployments or hardware refreshes when the project cycle demands it.
