We value the cultural richness that our diverse workforce brings to the care of our equally diverse population of patients and residents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Day to Day</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide safe and respectful nursing care, adhering to established policies, individualized care plans, and priorities</li>\n <li>Conduct thorough assessments, monitor signs/symptoms, and communicate with the RN/RPN as needed</li>\n <li>Prepare patients for procedures, transfers, and admissions, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team</li>\n <li>Administer medications per protocol, monitor effects, and maintain communication with the team</li>\n <li>Utilize evidence-based resources to stay updated on nursing practices</li>\n <li>Respond to incidents such as codes, injuries, spills, and alarms, following procedures</li>\n <li>Assist with staff orientation, demonstrating procedures and providing support</li>\n <li>Address patient/resident and family learning needs, provide educational materials, and make referrals</li>\n <li>Attend care planning meetings, provide input, and advocate for patients/residents</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans</li>\n <li>Assist with discharge planning based on patient status and external supports</li>\n <li>Operate and clean equipment, report malfunctions, and handle hazardous materials.
