We offer branded, private label, contract manufactured and food service salsa products in addition to a variety of dips, spreads and sauces. &nbsp;</p><p>Currently, we are looking for a <strong>Sr.</strong> <strong>Manufacturing Mechanic</strong> for our Riviera Beach, FL manufacturing facility. &nbsp;The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance activities as required to support all plant operations and assist the Maintenance Manager and/or Production Manager in supporting the overall maintenance effort and team.</p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Execute daily assignments to include but not limited to coordinating, supporting and performing all required plant reactive, preventative, proactive, project and setup support maintenance activities</li><li>Utilizing the site&rsquo;s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), create the maintenance schedule, organize work orders and input maintenance parts inventory into the system</li><li>Assess, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing issues, such as pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems; the rebuilding of gearboxes and drives and &nbsp;(to include researching technical data, procuring parts, performing hand-on repairs and assisting in the coordination of contractor support as needed) in a timely fashion and with minimal supervision. &nbsp;</li><li>Installation of equipment and needed piping&nbsp;</li><li>Setting up of production lines, as well as the repair and troubleshooting of filling machines on production lines.</li><li>Insures GMP, SSOP, OSHA guidelines and best practices are met prior to commissioning or restarting a piece of machinery, equipment or production line.</li><li>Assist in training, coaching and mentoring fellow mechanics/technicians on proper maintenance practices to include but not limited to safe work practices, equipment theory of operation, proper troubleshooting techniques and best-practice repair procedures, etc.</li><li>Conducts all the tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, according to the laws and regulatory agencies: EPA, OSHA, Fire Department, FSMA, FDA, etc. &nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required (Associate&rsquo;s Degree, Trade School Certificate and/or Military Technical Training, a plus)&nbsp;</li><li>Must have 5 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably under cGMP regulations</li><li>Knowledge of and experience with food processing machinery including: Horizontal and Vertical Mixers, Urschell Dicers, Pack Line Depositing, Sealing and Lidding equipment, Circular and Vacuum pumps, Flow Valves/Fillers, Temperature/Level Sensors, Conveyors, Air Compressors, HVAC Units, Metal Detectors, Check Weigher</li><li>Technical knowledge and ability in electrical troubleshooting, including replacement of three phase motors, &amp; knowledge in PLC&rsquo;s (Allen Bradley or Siemens)</li><li>Certified in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics is desirable</li><li>Related field training and continuing education is a plus</li><li>Must be mechanically inclined and possess the ability to use all standard tools of the trade</li><li>Be able to work in a cold environment for long periods of time.</li><li>Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus</li><li>Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs.</li><li>Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands or finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Competencies/ Skills</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Proficiency in computer (Microsoft Office, Excel) and basic math skills</li><li>High Level in HVAC Skills including RTU&rsquo;s &amp;/or Condensers&nbsp;</li><li>Mechanical Skills in Shear Mixer, Pumps &amp;/or Welding tig-mig&nbsp;</li><li>High Skill in Electrical circuits, including 480 AC/DC</li><li>Team Oriented</li><li>Excellent time management</li><li>Working with minimal supervision.</li><li>Proficient reading, writing and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Italian Rose is an equal opportunity employer.
