Process Eng – P1 ( Process Engineer I) Dorado, PR Plant Purpose Statement Under supervisory direction, assists in the development of capable processes and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production. Key Responsibilities Assesses process capabilities and innovates and implements process improvements for discrete, well-defined processes. Writes clean and concise work instructions that can be understood by product builders. Contributes to technical reports, validations, and qualifications by capturing experimental results. Assists in completing proper documentation to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., BOM's, Routers, FMEA's, etc.) Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes. Gathers and provides technical data for technical reviews. Oversees development builds associated with the project using special work requests. Assists in developing qualified production lines. Provides Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input to the engineering print package. Contributes ideas to or generates Intellectual Property submissions. May train manufacturing personnel when required as part of a validation   Special Position Requirements : BS in Engineering required with 0-2 years of related experience. Experience leading complex projects. Knowledge in statistical analysis Design of Experiments (DOE) experience Failure modes analysis Preferred: Silicone Molding, CAD knowledge, Equipment integration, Vision systems development Fully Bilingual Requisition ID: 629424 Minimum Salary: $ 45500 Maximum Salary: $ 86500 The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com— will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
