          "text": "<p><strong>The Opportunity:</strong><br>\nWe, at Flywire, are looking for an experienced Sr. QA Engineer I ideally with a background in FinTech The Quality Assurance team at Flywire is a group of engineers dedicated to improving the productivity of engineering and quality of services in Flywire. We focus on adding value to Flywire’s engineering by providing a diverse array of sustainable tools and processes. Our scope of service to other teams does not just involve writing tests because our focus is on facilitating tools and processes to boost productivity. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, design, and building quality products is essential.<br>\n&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Understand requirements and user stories as a whole for risk-based testing</li><li>Provide feedback and add acceptance criteria to the stories if edge cases are not clear.</li><li>Detect and solve production issues and bugs within the development environment beyond your current scope</li><li>Dive into scalability and performance considerations in order to detect and solve scalability &amp; performance Issues</li><li>Drive a design for a feature while understanding system-wide and architectural concerns</li><li>Investigate test failures in production, identify design flaws, and suggest potential solutions</li><li>Write clean, high quality, testable, secure, maintainable and extendable code</li><li>Lean into our business domain and needs as well as our company vision, mission and strategy to deliver on our short and long term goals</li><li>Bring fresh ideas to the team and analyze emerging test tools, trends and methodologies and enhance existing systems and processes</li><li>Mentor team members and act as a lead on projects and new initiatives Identify opportunities both in processes and tools to improve the overall productivity of the team</li><li>Become involved in tech communities and add contributions to enhance them</li><li>Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability</li><li>Identify great talent and excite them to join our team</li><li>Provide good estimations, track progress and manage risk as well as team members' time<br>\n&#xa0;</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong>Here's what we're looking for</strong></p><ul><li>4+ years of experience in web application development or quality assurance</li><li>Knowledge of the following programming languages: &#xa0;Javascript, Java and scripting skills in Shell</li><li>Familiar with RESTful web service principles and using HTTP clients &#xa0;and tools like (Postman, Rest-assured, Playwright, and Wiremock)</li><li>Hands-on experience with Continuous Delivery technology and practices as well as containerization technologies like Docker</li><li>Experience working on a mature software product where availability and performance are key</li><li>Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools</li><li>Experience in code quality metrics and tools as well as building test automation frameworks</li><li>Understanding of software quality principles and agile development practices</li><li>A passion for learning and contributing to the development of others</li><li>Fluency in English, as it is the company’s working language</li><li>Experience in FinTech or the payment industry will be appreciated</li><li>Experience in Student Information Systems or Financial ERP will be appreciated</li><li>Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including product and support</li><li>Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent</li><li><strong>Must be based within Eastern Time Zone</strong></li></ul>",
