          "text": "<p><span><b>MCAFEE SME</b></span></p><p><b><span>3 MONTH CONTRACT</span><br /></b></p><p><b>$60-$75/hr plus medical benefits</b></p><p><b>Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a public trust clearance</b></p><p><b>Nice to have: McAfee Certification</b></p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p>* Overall exclusions (file and processes) need a thorough review and changes (initial 2 days dedicated effort and then monitor)</p><p>* Review threat logs and put exclusions for routine processes and files that are creating the unnecessary threat events.  For example, msiexec.exe can be put in low risk processes (initially 1 day dedicated effort to start and then monitor)</p><p><span>* VDI workstations (project)</span><br /></p><p>- Appcontrol with or without MOVE</p><p>- With MOVE, could disable On Access but there are risks if the file server does not have AV</p><p>* Upgrade ePO, Agent, MOVE (definitely a project)</p><p>* One more MOVE scan server to separate the VDI workstations from servers – could improve some performance (project)</p><p>* SVA (Security Virtual Appliance) Manager for MOVE scan servers (project)</p><p>- Linux OS on the appliance and has McAfee agent and Linux AV</p><p>- manages MOVE scan servers and the virtual servers and workstations</p><p>- manages based on Tags to determine where the virtual servers go for scanning based on the utilization of the scan servers</p><p><br /></p><p>* Distributed repositories – reduces all McAfee agents going to ePO for updates</p><p>- Super Agent is highly recommended</p><p>- McAfee Agent v5.0 supports peer-to-peer </p><p>* Discussed off-hours scanning for workstations – Deep Command (project)</p><p>- wakes up systems to do scanning, patching, etc.</p><p>- requires vPro Chipset</p><p><br /></p>",
