Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same passion for excellence and teamwork.<br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Your Role: </span>Controller<br></p>\n<p>This isn’t a sit-back-and-review-the-numbers type of role.<br><br></p>\n<p>You’ll partner closely with our VP Finance and be right in the day-to-day — leading a small team, owning the numbers, and helping the business make better decisions.<br><br></p>\n<p>If you like being hands-on, building structure, and having a real impact — this is that kind of role.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You'll Own<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own the accuracy of financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, year-end)</li>\n<li>Lead full-cycle accounting (and jump in when needed — this is a working role)</li>\n<li>Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis</li>\n<li>Support cash flow planning and business decisions</li>\n<li>Oversee compliance (ASPE, tax, audits, remittances)</li>\n<li>Work closely with operations, sales, and leadership to provide insight — not just reports</li>\n<li>Help improve processes, systems, and reporting (we’re always looking to get better)</li>\n<li>Support and mentor a small accounting team<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we’re looking for</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CPA (preferred)</li>\n<li>5+ years of progressive accounting experience</li>\n<li>Experience in manufacturing, construction, or a similar environment is a big asset</li>\n<li>Strong full-cycle accounting background</li>\n<li>Comfortable working in the details <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">and</span> at a higher level</li>\n<li>Someone who can explain the “why” behind the numbers — not just the numbers</li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills </li>\n<li>Experience with Sage or similar systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Most importantly — someone who is practical, collaborative, and takes ownership</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why this role is a good opportunity</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>You’ll have a real voice in the business — not just reporting numbers after the fact</li>\n<li>You’ll work closely with leadership and operations (this role is very connected to the business)</li>\n<li>Opportunity to help shape processes as we continue to grow</li>\n<li>A strong, stable company with momentum</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we Offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive compensation and benefits package</li>\n<li>Group benefits after 3 months (health, dental, and more)</li>\n<li>Paid vacation and sick days</li>\n<li>Free on-site parking</li>\n<li>Casual dress code and company events</li>\n<li>Fast-paced, fun and collaborative work environment</li>\n<li>A team that is invested in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">YOU</span> – professionally and personally<br><br><em>Only selected candidates will be contacted</em></li>\n</ul>",
