    "description": "<p>Job Title: Database Developer (Senior)</p>\n<p>Location: Huntsville, AL </p>\n<p>Position Type: Full-Time</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview:</span><br>We are seeking an experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Database Developer</span> to design, develop, and optimize database solutions in support of application development and enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with strong expertise in database performance tuning, automation, and backend reporting. This role will interface with customers, users, and developers to ensure efficient database operations, maintain database schema and design, and provide subject matter expertise for ingesting data from multiple sources.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries.</li>\n<li>Develop backend reports and custom scripts to automate database management processes.</li>\n<li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance.</li>\n<li>Maintain database schema, support database design, and manage transition development activities.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with customers, end users, and developers to gather requirements and ensure database solutions meet mission needs.</li>\n<li>Provide technical SME support for data ingestion from various sources (e.g., file systems).</li>\n<li>Perform database maintenance, upgrades, and system enhancements.</li>\n<li>Ensure database solutions align with security, performance, and quality requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">8+ years of experience</span> in database development and administration.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development.</li>\n<li>Strong experience in database performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning.</li>\n<li>Expertise in developing stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and queries.</li>\n<li>Solid understanding of database schema design and management.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Active Top Secret security clearance (required).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) or federal government database systems.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with enterprise-level data management and reporting solutions.</li>\n<li>Experience with database automation, patching, and backup strategies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>CULTURE REQUIREMENTS:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Engineers, Analysts, and Developers at Cintel, Inc. are highly motivated, technical, and self‐organized.
