    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Job Title: Operations Manager &ndash; Dirt Dog Manufacturing</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Wage Range: Exempt</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Department: Manufacturing</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reports to: COO</p><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\">The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing plant operations, across all shifts in the Dirt Dog &ndash; Commerce, GA Plant, with the aim of maximizing resources to produce quality tractor and skid steer attachments on time, and at the lowest cost. The functional departments reporting to this position include all manufacturing departments, procurement, order entry, shipping and production Control. This Leader should have a very hands-on focus of driving safety, team-work and overall efficiencies throughout the manufacturing operations. This leader will also ensure that the plant successfully meets operational targets, business goals and objectives, and complies with all CEG standards. This leader will collaborate with the other plant functions to support other operational needs as required.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. &nbsp;(Other duties may be assigned):</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Lead and coach the operations organization to act cohesively towards company goals and expectations. &nbsp;A present and active leader on the shop floor building rapport with the team and driving continuous improvement initiatives. &nbsp;A leader who drives culture.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Lead the Production scheduling, planning, and execution team in a make to order/ job shop production environment.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Implement tools, concepts and attributes of lean manufacturing.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Lead the scale up of manufacturing and maximize facility space to meet capacity requirements.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Understand process engineering and production concepts, process flow, fixturing, tooling etc., in order to impact and improve efficiency, productivity and throughput.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Increase production, capacity, and quality, through hands on, positive leadership and motivation and clear communication.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Drive initiatives that contribute to long-term operational goals.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Establish and communicate performance measures and results. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology, and information systems. (Global Shop or Syspro a plus).</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Be proficient with Inventory tracking and reduction techniques, Supply Chain optimization, Facilities, Plant and Equipment Maintenance.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Supervise personnel which typically include coaching, mentoring as well as hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Assures that all OSHA, EPD, &nbsp;Right to Know and MSDS regulations are complied with, and that safety is stressed and emphasized to all employees.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strives for conformance to an ISO like Quality Management System throughout the organization.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Company Information:</p><p>The person in this position has access to various reports and records, which are considered as being of a highly confidential and classified nature. &nbsp;None of this material or information may be divulged or passed on to any outside source by the employee either during or after employment with the Company.</p><p><br></p><p>Education and/or Experience:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>This position requires excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills. Candidate should be detail and people oriented and have strong interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Candidates must be highly motivated and be able to perform in a dynamic environment. Ability to motivate and lead at all levels of the organization.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in a metric driven manufacturing environment at Manager level.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Must have proven decision-making and communication skills, be responsible, mature, flexible, and have management experience. &nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Self-starter and ability to work independently and in a team setting</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Bachelor&#39;s Degree in Engineering or Operations Management strongly recommended.</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
