    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\">Job Overview: As a Land/Home Underwriter, you will play a critical role in our lending team, responsible for evaluating and underwriting loan applications in our Land/Home department to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and investor requirements. With a focus on accuracy, quality, and customer service, you will assess borrowers&#39; financial profiles, property information, and loan documentation to make informed lending decisions. Your expertise in underwriting will contribute to the success of our loan origination process and the satisfaction of our borrowers.&nbsp;</p><p>Key Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><ul><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Review and analyze mortgage loan applications, credit reports, income documentation, and property appraisals to assess borrower eligibility and loan risk.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Evaluate borrowers&#39; financial profiles, including debt-to-income ratio, credit history, and employment stability, to determine loan approval or denial.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements (such as TILA, RESPA, and Fair Lending), and investor guidelines throughout the underwriting process.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Communicate lending decisions to Loan Officers, borrowers, and other stakeholders in a clear and timely manner, providing explanations for any conditions or stipulations.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Collaborate with Loan Processors, Loan Officers, and other team members to resolve issues, address conditions, and facilitate loan closings.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in underwriting documentation and loan files, ensuring completeness and consistency.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Provide exceptional customer service by responding to borrower inquiries, providing status updates, and guiding them through the underwriting process with professionalism and empathy.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in mortgage underwriting to continuously improve knowledge and skills.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Cultivate and nurture client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.</span></li></ul><p>Minimum Qualifications: &nbsp;</p><ul><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in the mortgage industry</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Familiarity with Encompass software is advantageous.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Knowledge of the Manufactured Home Industry is a desirable asset.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Exhibit a strong work ethic.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Possess strong problem-solving abilities.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li><li><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\">Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</span></li></ul></div>\n",
