Partner with the best As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will maximize value, retention and growth throughout the customer life-cycle. You will help to build, innovate and evolve customers' cloud compute strategies. Delivering innovative outcomes for customers through efficient relationships, business acumen, and operational focus. As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for: Being the strategist and technical advisor to architects and technology leaders of Akamai's premier customers Being the point of contact for the customer & leading account team to deliver customer success Partnering with Sales and pre-sales to make recommendations that expand adoption of Akamai's Compute products and services Maximizing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth based on the customer's needs and business requirements Responding to escalations when various issues arise and operational improvements to mitigate future risks Familiarizing yourself with customer environments, requirements, and milestones in order to help drive value Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have minimum of 8+ years of experience with cloud-based applications, implementation lead, and strategy; and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent Have relevant experience working with large enterprises in a customer-facing technical role with public cloud/cloud software company Possess professional or associate architect level certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure/Other cloud providers is mandatory Demonstrate hands-on in any of these domains: IaaS, Containers, Kubernetes, Auto-scaling, CI/CD with GitOps & pipeline customization Have the ability to travel across China; approximately 20-25% of the time Need to be proficient in English and Mandarin (written and spoken) Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
