    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Defense contractor performing product development and manufacturing of various systems for military aerospace and vehicles in the Los Angeles International Airport area is searching for an experienced Design Engineer. &nbsp;With a 50+ year history, The Marvin Group supports all branches of the Department of Defense and allies around the globe on an array of programs and platforms. &nbsp;We support many military prime contractors including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p><h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span></h2><ul><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Manage development of systems employing pneumatic, mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Facilitate communication between design engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance functions</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Create and maintain AS9100 program plans and evidence of compliance for the R&amp;D group</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Create and support development of technical and cost inputs for customer inquiries and proposals during business campaigns</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Work within a cross-functional team and as an individual contributor</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&#39;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent<br></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Minimum of 5 years of experience in design of components or systems in a development environment, preferably in military or commercial aviation</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Working knowledge of manufacturing of mechanical components and assemblies with emphasis in complex electromechanical systems, or large structures</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Prior experience using CATIA for solid modeling highly desirable<br></span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to generate and track program schedules using Microsoft Project</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be well organized and capable of taking requirements from a high/summary level to generate compliant lower-level program control and reporting documents, plans and activities</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must have experience with reading and interpreting&nbsp;MIL-STD documents</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be fluent in written and spoken English</span></li><li><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to write technical reports, typically to document programmatic and technical status.
