We also provide attractive working conditions and opportunities for career growth through professional development.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Discover why Cooper University Health Care is the employer of choice in South Jersey.</strong></p>\n<h2>Short Description</h2>\n<p>The Ambulatory Pharmacy technician provides Pharmacy service support in the medication management cinic to ensure continuity and safe care.</p>\n<p>The functions include but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the pharmacist in gathering health and prescription information.</li>\n <li>Registration of the patient at clinic visit.</li>\n <li>Complete authorization for prescriptions; obtain supporting documentation for denials.</li>\n <li>Understand the billing process; troubleshoot insurance issues.</li>\n <li>Assist with processing of prescription to retail pharmacies.</li>\n <li>Follow up with patients to ensure compliance with care.</li>\n <li>Assist with any required responsibilities to ensure safe and complete care.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience Required</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 1 year Ambulatory care pharmacy experience required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Special Requirements</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Current NJ registration (or eligible on hire).</li>\n <li>Must register with the NJ Board of Pharmacy during the first 10 days of employment.</li>\n <li>Must complete registration with the NJ Board of Pharmacy and become and active registered Pharmacy Technician within 180 days of hire.</li>\n <li>Pharmacy technician National Certification (PTCB) or greater than 10 years hospital or equivalent pharmacy experience required.</li>\n <li>Completion of basic pharmaceutical calculations.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of medication therapy management (MTM)</li>\n <li>Prescription authorization and Medicare/MTM billing experience.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of 340B programs.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Min ($)</h2>USD $21.00\n<h2>Salary Max ($)</h2>USD $33.00",
