font-weight: bold\">Addiction Counselor</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation</span>: $25 – $40 per hour</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide substance use disorder treatment services including:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Individual and group counseling</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Relapse prevention and recovery support</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Diagnostic assessments and treatment planning</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Residential and outpatient addiction treatment services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Psychoeducation and crisis intervention</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</span> Regularly walk, stand, or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and regularly drives a motor vehicle.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">WORKING CONDITIONS:</span> Work is performed in an office, in client’s homes or in the community; Work exposes incumbent to contagious or infectious diseases; Work may expose incumbent to dangerous and volatile situations which could result in bodily injury.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Competencies &amp; Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic principles, behavioral health treatment, and integrated care</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong understanding of DSM-5-TR diagnoses and evidence-based interventions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical reassessments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with COMAR, Medicaid, CARF, OMHC, and behavioral health documentation standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experience with ICANotes or electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Excellent written and verbal communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within interdisciplinary teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong crisis intervention, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Commitment to culturally responsive, person-centered, and ethical clinical care</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to maintain timely documentation, billing compliance, and quality assurance standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Leadership and care coordination skills preferred for Treatment Coordinator assignments</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;
