    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong> Performs quality inspections to assure compliance with Custom Power specifications.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Inspects incoming materials per applicable drawings, specifications, and PO Notes.</li><li>Takes measurements using calipers, micrometers, rulers, multimeters, etc. to determine product conformity.</li><li>Performs in-process and final inspections, as needed.</li><li>Enters and maintains records of inspection</li><li>Identifies and segregates nonconforming material. Writes red-tags and initiates nonconforming reports.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to effectively operate visual magnification devices (microscopes, etc.)</li><li>Ability to effectively operate and interpret basic mechanical measuring devices</li><li>Comfortable working in a manufacturing / production environment</li><li>Candidate must have good attention to detail with vision correctable to 20/20.</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Demonstrates proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite</li><li>Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) controls</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; or technical school preferred; and two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, certificate, and experience.</p><p>Recent experience to include inspection of: Electrical Assemblies, PCBAs, Cables and Wire Harnesses, Mechanical Assemblies, Machined and Injection Molded Components.</p><p>Candidate should be computer savvy and experienced with Microsoft Office programs, and Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) for entering product acceptance details. An understanding of International Organization for Standardization (ISO).</p><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Experience with AS9100 Quality Management Systems</li><li>Experience with AS9102 First Article Inspection</li></ul><p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. &nbsp;Ability to write simple correspondence. &nbsp;Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations. &nbsp;Must read, write, and speak fluent English.</p><p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong></p><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</p><p><strong>REASONING ABILITY&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS&nbsp;</strong>None are required.</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p><p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. &nbsp;Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT</strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. &nbsp;</p></div>\n",
