Description Are you excited to join the world's top bulk liquids terminal(s)? If so, you should join Stolthaven Terminals worldwide today! We are currently recruiting for a Operator C to join our team. Stolthaven Terminals, a division of Stolt-Nielsen Limited (SNL), is the specialist storage provider for bulk liquids: chemicals, clean petroleum gases, vegetable oils, biofuels and oleochemicals. We are continuously seeking how we can add value for our customers. What you will be doing He or She works under guidance and direction of the shift supervisor and the assigned Operations operator(s) responsible for the safe and efficient handling of all customer products. Key Responsibilities Gauges tanks, tank trucks, and railcars with accuracy. Stop gauges all vessels accurately on inbound and outbound movements. Aligns tanks and pipelines for the transfer of product both in and out of the storage tanks to and from all modes of transportation, i.e., ship, barge, tank truck, and rail car. Follows established standard and special customer requirements. Completes all Operations paperwork accurately and participates in employee safety training and quality programs. Samples all product movements and tag samples properly, storing samples in designated area. Reviews product data sheets prior to handling all customer products. Stop gauges all vessels accurately on inbound and outbound movements. Participates in employee safety training and quality programs Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of experience in loading and unloading Trucks, Railcars, Barges, and Vessels preferred. Knowledge of DOT and FRA regulations pertaining to Truck and Rail operations preferred. Experience with line ups and maintaining the temperature of products preferred. Ability to obtain a TWIC card. Ability to work rotating shifts 12 hours a day (4 days on 4 days off with being on call, 4 nights on 4 off without being on call.) You must be physically strong: able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally; and up to 83 pounds infrequently. You’ll need good balance to regularly step on and off equipment and work from ladders to perform various tasks. And you must be able to walk, sit, stand, and stoop comfortably. You’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions- including heat, cold, ice, and rain- and frequently at elevations 50 feet above the ground.
