    "description": "<p>UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) is currently seeking CNC Machinist to join our team! We are looking for someone that will support our mission to consistently deliver creative, high-quality, technology-based services to our customers on time and within budget.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will be responsible for CNC programming, setup, and operations. This position is located at our division in Robbinsville, NJ in our clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped, modern shop. At this location, we specialize in short-run manufacturing of custom machinery and machine components.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What will you be doing?</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position will be a key member of the UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) team.  Duties include:</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>CNC Operations, both Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers.\n<ul>\n<li>Program, edit, setup, and run parts on machine independently</li>\n<li>Operate multiple machines, depending on the task</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Gibbs programing experience a plus</li>\n<li>HAAS, Mazak and Fanuc experience a plus\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to complete in-process inspections in open setup (micrometers, calipers, thread measurements) and optical comparator (angles and overlays)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Be able to inspect parts coming off CNC machines for visual defects and workmanship</li>\n<li>Experience interpreting blueprints, basic knowledge of GD&amp;T</li>\n<li>Deburr and clean components before &amp; after machining operations where needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>This position will require the following skillsets and experience:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have good mechanical skills and experience</li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role</li>\n<li>High standard of quality and efficiency</li>\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Any milling/turning MFG experience would be beneficial.</li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of shop mathematics</li>\n<li>Must be a team players, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly</li>\n<li>Basic PC knowledge (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)</li>\n<li>Must be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy objects</li>\n<li>Must be a US Citizen</li>\n<li>Must have a valid driver’s license</li>\n<li>High school diploma required; college degree not required but beneficial</li>\n<li>Past or present military personnel are encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>UTRS is an Equal Opportunity employer.
