Our products protect human life and personal property, improve the quality of life, generate economic prosperity, and connect society.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Titan America, Inc. has an opening for an <strong>Equipment Operator</strong> in the Aggregates Division. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Quarry Production Department and will report to the Quarry Supervisor and lead-man.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform a pre and post inspection of equipment and report any safety hazards and concerns promptly. Audit mitigation of safety hazards or concerns.</li>\n <li>Fill out all required documentation and submit on time.</li>\n <li>Push material in the pit areas to level after backfilling, blasting, and other areas.</li>\n <li>Push material on the surge pile to feeders for cement and aggregates production.</li>\n <li>Continuously communicate with Plant Tower Operator, Primary Tower Operator.</li>\n <li>Maintain pad level and loading area clear of debris.</li>\n <li>Maintain equipment clean and safe.</li>\n <li>Perform utility tasks such as shoveling, water hosing, and others when the primary or truck is down and as required.</li>\n <li>Perform miscellaneous work with loader as assigned by Quarry Manager or Leadman.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety-minded.</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of material specifications, preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of equipment operation preferred (dozer), (for exceptional candidates, Titan will offer training).</li>\n <li>Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.</li>\n <li>Welding & cutting experience required.</li>\n <li>Ability to speak, read, and write English.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and follow the oral and written instructions to carry out sufficient repair orders.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>\n <li>Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear</li>\n <li>Ability to work well with others.</li>\n <li>Capable of working in confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds.</li>\n <li>Able to walk, kneel crouch, crawl, talk and hear</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em><u>Shift:</u></em></strong></p>\n<p>Must be able to workday shifts, afternoon shifts, night shifts, swing shifts, weekends, and overtime as directed.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This job description is intended to outline the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
