    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong><u>SCOPE OF POSITION</u></strong></p><p>The Stockkeeper / Material Handler reports to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring the continuous flow of material throughout the production process. &nbsp;This role includes supplying raw materials to production lines, transferring finished goods from production to shipping, assisting production crews with put-ups, and maintaining Work-in-Progress (WIP) and core cutter areas. &nbsp; The Stockkeeper / Material Handler also acts as a relief operator on Class 7 production lines as required.</p><p>&nbsp;This position requires the safe operation of forklift equipment, the accurate use of QAD and Redzone systems, and a consistent commitment to workplace safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness standards.</p><p>Within the limits of applicable policies, procedures and established plans, this role has the authority to take action and make decisions. &nbsp;The assignment of work or delegation of responsibility does not relinquish responsibility for results. &nbsp;Performance will be measured by the extent to which the responsibilities have been fulfilled. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ul><li>Daily operation of all material handling equipment with valid Hood Packaging licence</li><li>Maintains all work-in-process (WIP) areas &ndash; including warehouse, extrusion, press and converting - to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment</li><li>Ensure FIFO is used for all stock material including rolls, pallets, masterbatch, etc.</li><li>Identifies and brings forward any orphan rolls</li><li>Supplies all departments with raw materials including rolls, masterbatch, pallets, pallet covers, etc.</li><li>Accountable for the core cutter area including cutting cores, housekeeping and maintaining stock</li><li>Assists all crews with preparing pallets to be delivered to shipping and moving from the lines</li><li>Moves any non-dispositioned, red-tagged product to the appropriate NC area</li><li>Assists with maintaining the NC area by moving dispositioned product to the appropriate area</li><li>Trained relief operator for both 405 and 603 production lines</li><li>Other duties as required or assigned</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Frequent contact with Operations Manager, Supervisors and Operations associates</li><li>Regular contact with Warehouse Supervisor, Shipping Lead hand and Shippers</li><li>Regular contact with other departments</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Read and understand the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)</li><li>Practice and encourage safe work behavior</li><li>Understand the procedure of reporting all accidents and near misses</li><li>Understand the safety features of all material handling equipment</li><li>Understand and follow the food, safety, quality and department procedures</li><li>Understand and perform good housekeeping practices continuously</li><li>Read and understand a work order</li><li>Communicate to supervisor if unable to work shift for any reason. &nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Continuous standing</li><li>Frequent walking, lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing 10 lbs to 50 lbs</li><li>Frequently reaching above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders while preparing pallets of finished goods material</li><li>Occasional bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching / stooping, climbing</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT</u></strong></p><ul><li>Fast-paced production environment, focused on safety, teamwork and quality</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS &ndash; EDUCATION EXPERIENCE &amp; OTHER SKILLS</u></strong></p><p><strong>Education&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Grade 12 or equivalent</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>2 plus years of related experience</li></ul><p><strong>Other Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines</li><li>Organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills required</li><li>Ability to operate forklift</li><li>Computer literacy required</li></ul></div>\n<br/>Rotating Continental shifts.  <br/>Week 1 - Mon Tue Fri Sat (12 hour shifts)<br/>Week 2 - Sun Wed Thur (12 hours shifts)<br/>Week 3 - Mon Tue Fri Sat (12 hour night shifts)<br/>Week 4 - Sun Wed Thur (12 hours night shifts)",
