You’ll monitor aquatic areas, respond quickly to emergencies, and partner with Aquatics leadership to keep every guest experience safe and enjoyable. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>A LIFEGUARD’S DAY-TO-DAY </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Monitor aquatic areas and prevent injuries by proactively communicating with Guests and eliminating hazards. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Enforce all safety and departmental rules while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Educate Guests on safety protocols and ensure all posted warning signs are adhered to. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Conduct safe and effective rescues in accordance with training and lifeguard certification protocols. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Maintain test-ready skills to always respond to emergencies. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Participate in all required in-service training to maintain lifeguard certification. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Be knowledgeable in completing live audits correctly. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Lifeguard Supervisor immediately. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ensure all equipment is in good working order before use. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Keep hip packs filled and prepared for emergency situations. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Utilize and understand whistle signals for effective communication with team members. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Work collaboratively with fellow team members to maintain a safe and enjoyable Guest experience. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Remain alert and engaged throughout shifts to ensure a high level of safety awareness. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Perform other duties as assigned to support park operations. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IT TAKES </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Minimum age: 16 years. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must pass Lifeguard training (provided by the company). </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must pass CPR/First Aid certification. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Strong swimming ability and endurance. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to maintain focus and vigilance in a fast-paced environment. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><p>High school diploma, equivalent, or currently enrolled in high school. </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PERKS (MORE REASONS YOU’LL LOVE YOUR JOB) </strong></p>\n<p> </p>✅ \n<strong>Free bowling & attractions</strong> (laser tag, billiards, mini golf, ropes courses, and rides)✅ \n<strong>$1 arcade play</strong>✅ \n<strong>All‑day play at Boomers, FECs & Waterparks</strong>✅ \n<strong>Friends & family discounts</strong>✅ \n<strong>Food & beverage discounts</strong>✅ \n<strong>Special discounts on parties and group events</strong>✅ \n<strong>Perks start on your first day</strong>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Typical entertainment and waterpark environment where you’ll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance.
