    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.2.27/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>ALARM DESIGNER</strong></p><p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong></p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Perform on site surveys</li><li>Prepare fire alarm drawings using AutoCAD based from working both site visits and architectural prints</li><li>Calculate, design and coordinate a project from beginning to end</li><li>Coordinate technical documents with other disciplines/contractors</li><li>Modify and/or create processes to ensure consistent production and document control&nbsp;</li><li>Assist superintendents and field personnel on system and code applications</li><li>Assist sales department with system configuration, specification review and code applications for estimating projects</li><li>Maintain project drawing files and records</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High School diploma or GED is required</li><li>Construction experience is a plus</li></ul><p><strong><u>Work Experience:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Fire Alarm system design and Auto CAD</li><li>APS State of TX preferred</li></ul><p><strong><u>Skills and Competencies:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of industry codes such as IFC, NFPA, IBC, and NEC</li><li>Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings</li><li>Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced service/construction team environment</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>Ability to travel as needed</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Requirements</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>75% Office Setting, including sitting, some bending, some lifting, walking and viewing.&nbsp;</li><li>25% driving</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong></strong>AFP Alarm &amp; Detection offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefit package including:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Paid Holidays and Vacation</li><li>Medical Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Short-term and Long-term Disability</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>Health Savings Account&nbsp;</li><li>401(k)</li></ul><p>We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>\n    </div>\n  </div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
