    "description": "<h2>Description and Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Are you looking for a rewarding position that provides flexibility while allowing you to manage your personal, work, and/or school schedule? </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Join our Relief Team! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>As a Relief Counselor, you gain experience while playing a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges by helping them live independently and live beyond their perceived limitations.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Open Sky's Respite programs are short-term group living environments that provide treatment of intermittent crisis and stabilization for adults who are diagnosed with a mental health and/or substance use disorder. The goal of the Respite program is to work collaboratively with individuals to develop skills to maintain their independence in the community and live a life that is not defined by their mental illness. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Relief Counselor supports individuals to live as independently as possible, while providing evidence-based treatment and care, within a group living environment. Counselors act as strong advocates for individuals served and understand the importance of community integration. </p>\n<p><strong>Other Key Responsibilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in developing individualized, person-centered treatment plans and play a lead role in the daily implementation plans. </li>\n <li>Assist individuals to access and/or provide transportation.</li>\n <li>Implement activities that create opportunities for the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.</li>\n <li>Review and complete all required documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>The organization recognizes skills, location, training and population served in certain programs by offering an additional hourly differential.
