The Aquatics Manager works to ensure YMCA members, participants and guests experience a safe &amp; fun pool environment that helps them reach their goals.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong></p><p>1. Supervises program activities to meet the needs of the community and fulfill YMCA objectives. Works with supervisor to establishes new program activities and expands program within the community in accordance with strategic and operating plans.</p><p>2. Supports staff and volunteers. Works with supervisor to develop strategies to lead staff and achieve goals which may include direct staff supervision and leadership.</p><p>3. Assists in maintaining staff records.</p><p>4. Monitors and maintains records of daily pool operations to adhere to all state, local and YMCA health and safety regulations and ensures proper maintenance of pool.</p><p>5. Creates and schedules classes, practices and other events to meet the needs of the program and community.</p><p>6. Assists with program statistics. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program.</p><p>7. Assists in the marketing and distribution of program information.</p><p>8. Assists in YMCA fundraising activities and special events.</p><p>9. Compiles program statistics. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of and participation in program.</p><p>10.Actively participates in branch, department and association staff meetings and/or trainings.</p><p>11. Must be at least 18 years of age</p><p>2. At least 1 year supervisory experience in customer service and/or instruction</p><p>3. Demonstrated success leading aquatic-focused or equivalent team</p><p>4. Demonstrated leadership, dependability &amp; flexibility in work hours</p><p>5.
