This individual will weigh, dispense, and issue raw materials in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), thoroughly documenting work activities. &nbsp;The Chemical Dispensary Technician is responsible for chemical storage in Stockroom and Stockroom inventory management.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>II. &nbsp; &nbsp; Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities:</strong></p></td></tr></tbody></table><ul><li>Identify and pull chemicals from inventory recording transactions in JDE.</li><li>Investigate variances involving the chemical weigh out area.</li><li>Monitor chemical inventory levels &ndash; cycle count chemicals and filters and monitor expiration dates of all chemicals and filters.</li><li>Ensures that the Stockroom is kept in a neat and clean condition.</li><li>Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices while performing duties.</li><li>Follow proper sterile gowning techniques.</li><li>Weigh out and dispense chemicals required for the formulation process</li><li>Perform cleaning, autoclaving, and passivation of dispensing equipment/containers as necessary &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>Adhere to all procedures including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and storage requirements of individual chemicals</li><li>Development, creation, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) impacting the stockroom</li><li>Responsible for audit activities impacting the stockroom, including any follow-up items.</li><li>Ensures that all equipment in Stockroom and Dispensing areas are in good repair and takes action when repair or maintenance is required.</li><li>Acts as a Subject Matter Expert for Chemical Stock Room and Chemical Dispensing Operations and represent these areas during internal and External audits.</li><li>Trains employees when required.</li><li>Maintain effectiveness of the Quality System components relevant to this position.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and manage risk to ensure product quality. &nbsp;Communicate risk policies and processes throughout the organization.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><table border=\"1\" cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><p><strong>III. &nbsp;Position Requirements:</strong></p></td></tr></tbody></table><p><strong>Education or Equivalent:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school Diploma or GED.&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred Associate degree in Chemistry or some Chemistry background&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Experience:</strong> &nbsp;</p><ul><li>2 years&rsquo; experience working in cGMP environment, preferably pharmaceutical dispensing and staging or Formulation&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills Requirements:</strong> &nbsp;</p><ul><li>Well organized and detail oriented.</li><li>Must be computer literate with MS Office, spreadsheets and ERP &amp; PSR systems (JDE preferred).</li><li>Works well in a self-directed work team.</li><li>Possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.</li><li>Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.</li><li>Works well under pressure with limited supervision and able to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.</li><li>Must be able to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and personalities within and between departments.</li><li>Knowledge and experience in cGMPs desirable.</li><li>Advanced mathematical and reasoning ability.</li><li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li><li>Should be familiar with cGMP and safe work practices.</li><li>Excellent Documentation skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak clear English.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical Requirements: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Visual Acuity (20/30 corrected vision)</li><li>Ability to don and doff Personal Protective Equipment necessary to safely perform job tasks.</li><li>Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reading of written documents and use of computer monitor screen, reaching with hands and arms, handling, grasping,&nbsp;</li><li>Occasional climbing ladders/steps, walking up inclines and uneven terrain, stooping, kneeling, crouching, writing, talking, bending, turning, balancing, carrying, listening</li><li>Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds</li></ul><p><em>Notice to Agency and Search Firm Representatives: Woodstock Sterile Solutions is not accepting unsolicited resumes from agencies and/or search firms for this job posting.
