This position requires the skills to work in a fast-paced, fun, and dynamic environment. The Digital Media Specialist contributes to the mission of Athey Creek by helping us “reach” through social media, our website, app, and other online platforms. The ideal person to fulfill this role is a motivated individual with experience and passion in content creation for various online platforms.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience &amp; Knowledge</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Agree to ACC’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in our What We Believe/Vision Statement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in scripture</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience in writing and overseeing content creation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with content strategies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">High-level time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Engage as part of a team with Athey Creek staff, always being edifying to one another</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Participate in weekly staff meetings and special events as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee community management on all channels, including responding to comments and direct messages in a timely manner</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage interdepartmental projects to create content for social media platforms</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Implement and curate content on all Athey Creek Church social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and email marketing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create engaging text, images, and video content</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms to ensure maximum effectiveness</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Recruit, develop, and train a digital volunteer team to help with social postings, responses, and engagement</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor trends in social media applications, channels, platforms, design, and strategy</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Analyze key metrics, track and report bi-monthly and modify strategy as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Monitor and interact on all channels, and interpret social analytics</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Manage content on the Athey Creek website and app, and YouTube channel</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create and drive social media plans and content calendars, including developing campaigns, managing influencers, and social partnerships for the target audience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with subcontractors for video, photography for special events and content creation, and oversee the execution of those projects</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee the statistical analysis and growth strategies for the church’s online reach and engagement for church online, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and email marketing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create and generate both recurring and ad hoc reports or data analysis output in response to leadership and user requests</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif;
